On June 5th, 1961, North Hills Club was incorporated with a quaint clubhouse, three hard tennis courts and a family pool in the newly developed North Hills neighborhood.  About twenty years later with the membership nearing 500 families, the club made its first major expansion that served the membership well for the next twenty-five years. During that time, the Club’s reputation for tennis and swim programming rose to admirable heights.

Since that time, we have grown into a full-scale family-centric wellness and athletic club.  In March of 2007, construction of a new clubhouse was completed catering to our current membership of 825 families. The clubhouse includes a fitness center, casual dining restaurant, adult lounge, kids activity room, poolside snack bar, executive meeting room, and a ballroom.  We boast the area’s best tennis facilities and programs around, with twenty-two tennis courts and a full-service tennis pro shop. The North Hills Club experience is one of casual elegance through friendly service, superb food and spirits, challenging tennis and fitness, and Raleigh’s best appointed aquatics facility.
