The Family Pool at North Hills Club is amongst the most active area of the entire campus. The ability to cool off in one of the area's nicest pools is something that NHC members relish. The 225,000 gallon pool is large enough to comfortably service our 800+ member families most every day of the season. A multitude of tables, chairs, and chaise lounges encircle the pool deck for your relaxation and comfort.
Amenities of the Family Pool include a diving well and diving board, a poolside pavilion for private functions or shaded relaxation as available, and the focal point, 100' water slide. For your family's safety and pool activity security, the club employs an outside pool management company and lifeguard service to concentrate on all details pertaining to the pool. Members, their families, and their guests are expected to respect the lifeguards authority pertaining to all pool rules as set by the Board of Directors.
One of the many children's programming venues that North Hills Club is pleased to promote is the "NHC Superstars Dive Team". The objective of the dive team is for the kids to learn some fun dives, compete against divers from other clubs, and to have a great time socializing in a team atmosphere. Children do not need to know how to dive to join the team; that will be taught to them through their training and practices. One thing is for sure...Diving at North Hills Club is fun for all.
The fact that the pool was designed to accommodate the club's 220+ member swim team, the "NHC Superstars Swim Team," is a great benefit; with 8 – 25 yard lanes, we can functionally run our 3 annual home swim meets. North Hills Club is a member of the Tarheel Swim Association, or TSA. TSA follows generally accepted rules, regulations, and standards of amateur swimming competition in the United States. It also incorporates some basic rules and procedures designed specifically to meet the needs of its member teams. For more related information, go to www.tsanc.org
