On August 1, 2020, Stephen Dahlem, a member of our Club, joined the leadership team as Interim General Manager while the Board of Directors conducts a search for a new General Manager. In addition to his qualifying professional experience, he has served on the Board of Directors of the Club chairing the House and Grounds Committee.
Stephen is the founder and principal of Steele Commercial and Steele Property Management in Raleigh. Prior to Steele, Stephen was with The Lundy Group, Inc., a Raleigh, North Carolina based real estate firm, most recently serving as Vice President of Development and Brokerage. Additionally, Stephen held roles with NorthView Partners and Morisey Commercial, both of Raleigh, as a multi-family and strip center developer respectively.
Prior to his Real Estate Career, Stephen was in the hospitality and club industry for more than a decade including time locally at Governors Club and The Carolina Inn, both in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
Stephen holds a Masters in Business Administration from UNC’s Kenan-Flagler Business School with concentrations in Corporate Finance, Real Estate Finance, and Real Estate Development. He earned his BS degree from Elon University, Cum Laude.
During his free time he serves on the board of directors of The Green Chair Project, a nonprofit organization located in Raleigh, North Carolina, and on the board of the North Carolina Freedom Park. He can otherwise be found at Lake Gaston or enjoying a glass of wine with friends and family.
