Racquets At North Hills

Our award-winning team's mission is to foster a love of racquet sports for our adult Members and our junior players at North Hills Club.

Our adult and junior racquets programs offer a wide range of opportunities for Members of all ages; whether someone is new to racquet sports, is looking to play recreationally, wants to make their school team, or wants to play in competitive tournaments- we offer guidance, assistance, and support for all Members.

We have grown our facilities over the last year, adding two additional sports to our already award-winning tennis program; we added the fastest growing sport in the country: pickleball, and the fastest growing sport in the world: padel. With these new amenities, an exceptional Club culture, and elite professionals, we have evolved into one of the only premier tri-racquet clubs in North Carolina.

TENNIS

North Hills Club's nationally recognized tennis program features twenty-two LED-lighted outdoor tennis courts, with eighteen clay and four hard surface. We offer premier youth programming, professional adult training, league opportunities, and competitive conditioning; the tennis staff is committed to the excellence and education of Members of all ages and all skill levels. Originally the only racquet sport offered, this award-winning tennis program is woven throughout the life of the Club. We proudly host a variety of programming, events, and match play.

PICKLEBALL

Our six pickleball courts are directed by certified pickleball professionals, and we offer superior instruction for Members of all ages. We currently host individual and group clinics, member events, sanctioned tournaments, corporate events, and proudly host community league teams each week.

PADEL

Three new padel courts round out our tri-racquet facility. Padel is currently the fastest-growing sport in the world, and North Hills Club is one of only a few clubs on the East coast with this sport available for its Members. We offer world-class instruction, member events, USPA sanctioned tournaments, and intraclub leagues-- all led by padel-certified professionals. Often compared to a hybrid of tennis and racquetball, Padel uses lower-compression tennis balls and a specialized racquet. Our padel courts feature towering glass walls leading up to an open-air concept; balls may be played off the walls, making for a very exciting and interesting match against opponents.

"Three different racquet sports allow our Membership to stay active, develop athletic skills, integrate more often, and most importantly have fun!"
-Jason Kinder, Director of Racquet Sports
